01Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Storyboard Concept Artist with a strong cinematic eye, exceptional storytelling skills, and a passion for creating memorable visual sequences for game development.
We believe great visual storytelling is about more than illustrating a sequence of events. Every composition, camera angle, gesture, and transition should communicate emotion, intention, and narrative clarity.
In this role, you will help translate creative ideas, character interactions, and gameplay moments into compelling storyboards and visual explorations that guide animation, cinematics, and in-game storytelling.
We are looking for someone who understands how to communicate stories through images and can make even simple character interactions feel engaging, expressive, and memorable.
02Key Responsibilities
Storyboarding & Visual Narrative
Create expressive storyboards for character interactions, gameplay moments, cinematics, and narrative sequences.
Translate scripts, creative briefs, and narrative ideas into clear and compelling visual storytelling.
Develop strong compositions, camera angles, staging, and transitions that support emotional impact and narrative clarity.
Establish visual rhythm, pacing, and continuity across sequences.
Communicate character emotion, personality, and intent through poses, expressions, and body language.
Visual Development & Exploration
Create thumbnails, keyframes, sketches, and visual explorations to communicate creative ideas.
Develop multiple staging and storytelling approaches before refining selected sequences.
Use strong drawing fundamentals to communicate movement, action, and spatial relationships.
Prepare clear storyboards and visual references for animation and production teams.
Balance cinematic storytelling with gameplay clarity and interactive requirements.
Collaboration & Production
Work closely with Art Directors, Animators, Character Artists, Game Designers, and Narrative Teams.
Collaborate on the development of character performances and emotionally engaging moments.
Incorporate feedback and iterate efficiently while preserving creative intent.
Support the transition from storyboards to animatics, animation, and in-game implementation.
Contribute to maintaining visual consistency and storytelling quality throughout production.
03Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in storyboarding, visual development, concept art, or related disciplines.
Professional experience in games, animation, film, or other narrative-driven visual productions.
Exceptional portfolio demonstrating strong storyboarding, visual storytelling, and cinematic composition.
Excellent drawing fundamentals, including anatomy, perspective, posing, staging, and gesture.
Strong understanding of camera language, shot composition, continuity, and visual pacing.
Ability to communicate complex actions, emotions, and character interactions clearly through images.
Experience creating storyboards, animatics, or keyframe sequences.
Strong understanding of character acting, expressions, and emotional storytelling.
Proficiency in Photoshop, Storyboard Pro, or equivalent professional tools.
Ability to work independently and collaborate across creative disciplines.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
04Bonus Skills
Experience creating storyboards for game cinematics or interactive storytelling.
Experience with stylized and cartoon-inspired visual aesthetics.
Strong knowledge of action staging, combat readability, and gameplay camera design.
Experience developing expressive and comedic character interactions.
Familiarity with Blender, Unreal Engine, Unity3D, or other real-time visualization tools.
Experience creating animatics with timing, camera movement, and temporary audio.
Previous experience working in a co-development environment.
05What We Offer
Opportunity to shape visual storytelling and memorable character moments in game development.
High creative ownership over sequence composition and narrative presentation.
Close collaboration with experienced artists, animators, and creative leadership.
Remote-friendly international working environment.
