Who We Are

Beffio Studios is a creative game art and co-development studio working with game developers and entertainment partners around the world.

We bring together artistic vision, technical expertise, and creative problem-solving to build memorable interactive experiences. From early concept development to final in-engine implementation, we believe exceptional games emerge when creativity, technology, and gameplay work together.

Alongside our co-development partnerships, we are expanding our involvement in original game development, bringing our creative and technical expertise into the design of experiences players can genuinely connect with.

Position Overview

You will help shape the creative foundations of an unannounced first-person adventure and puzzle game, defining the mechanics, interactions, and design principles that make players curious, invested, and eager to discover what happens next.

We believe great game design goes beyond interesting mechanics or clever puzzles. It is about understanding what players feel, what motivates them to explore, how they connect with characters and stories, and how seemingly simple interactions can create unforgettable moments.

In this role, you will work closely with creative leadership, artists, and developers to transform early ideas into a cohesive gameplay vision, from initial design documents and mechanic exploration through playable prototypes and iteration.

This is a senior, hands-on creative role for someone who combines imaginative thinking with structured design methodology, strong player empathy, and the ability to turn compelling ideas into meaningful interactive experiences.

  • Collaborate with developers to establish practical systems for testing gameplay mechanics and puzzle interactions.
  • Participate in hands-on gameplay prototyping and iteration using Unreal Engine or comparable real-time tools.
  • Evaluate mechanics directly in playable environments, identifying what feels intuitive, satisfying, confusing, or emotionally engaging.
  • Organize playtests, interpret player behavior, and refine gameplay based on qualitative feedback and observation.
  • Explore efficient prototyping approaches, combining traditional design techniques with modern tools and AI-assisted workflows where appropriate.

Creative Collaboration & Ownership5

  • Work closely with Art Directors, Developers, Narrative Designers, and other creative specialists.
